Product Features
-
Board Type: Freeride - Powder
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
The Ride Moderator Snowboard 2026 is perfect for all terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste, thanks to its solid edge control and responsiveness. It's the ultimate all-in-one board for any rider.
-
Flex: Medium
With a mix of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are well-suited for all-mountain riding and offer enough responsiveness for carving while still providing a bit of playfulness for casual riders.
-
Ability Level: Intermediate - Advanced
More control and stability at higher speeds make intermediate snowboards great for advanced manoeuvres and varied terrain, with a stiffer flex.
Expert boards are rigid and quick to respond, made for fast control, precise riding, and navigating tough terrain or maneuvers.
-
Shape: Tapered Directional
A snowboard with a tapered directional shape has a narrower tail than nose, allowing for better control and stability in deep snow. This design increases floatation in powder and enables more seamless turns, making it perfect for freeride and backcountry riding. Though it excels in one direction, the taper aids in navigating tough conditions.
-
Camber Type: Directional Extra Camber
A directional shape with a predominantly positive camber profile, complemented by a subtle rocker in the nose.
-
Width: Standard, Wide
Standard width boards offer great edge-to-edge speed and reaction, with ample room for riders with average boot sizes.
Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.
-
Sidecut: Linear Quadratic Sidecut
The snowboard features a directional sidecut with Quadratic curvature in the front and a linear section in the back, allowing for easy and smooth turns with strong support and grip.
-
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
-
Board Construction
-
Topsheet: Topless Topsheet
Topless Construction eliminates the need for a topsheet by transferring graphics directly to the fiberglass. This process enhances durability, reduces weight, and minimises raw material usage.
-
Laminate: Hybrid Glass, Linear Carbon, Carbon Array 3, Single Impact Plates
Equal amounts of triaxial fiberglass on the upper side and biaxial on the lower side offer a well-balanced combination of torsional elasticity and rigidity, resulting in enhanced responsiveness at fast speeds without sacrificing flexibility.
Two carbon strips beneath the core enhance snap, boosting ollie power.
This technology guarantees full board control in all stance positions by utilizing three carbon stringers placed strategically in the binding area. These stringers capture input from various stance widths and pressure angles, effectively directing rider input to the opposite contact point for ultimate board control.
Single layer urethane weaves placed beneath each binding area enhance compressive strength, preventing board breaks where it’s needed most.
-
Core: Performance Light Core
An ideal balance of strength and lightness is achieved through the mixture of Aspen, Bamboo, and Paulownia wood, all known for their durability and weightlessness.
Sidewall: Slimewalls
Flexible and impact-absorbing, Slimewalls work like skateboard wheels, softening interactions with snow, wood, or metal surfaces. Virtually indestructible, they’re the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
-
Base: Sintered, Stone Ground Base
The porous structure of this base, created by heating and compressing small polyethylene particles, efficiently absorbs wax and allows the board to glide smoothly and quickly on snow. This sintered base is known for its toughness, durability, and speed, thanks to Ride's use of premium 4000 PTEX material.
-
Edges: Standard Steel Edge
A strong, standard metal edge material.

Additional Features:
- Thin Con - All Ride boards are designed with Thin Construction, featuring tapered tips and tails. This design reduces swing weight, improves tip flex, and boosts overall durability.
- Bio Resin - A plant-based epoxy used to bond the layers of snowboards, crafted from renewable resources like vegetable oils instead of petrochemicals. This eco-friendly resin helps create snowboards with a reduced carbon footprint.
