Dirty Ski Clothing? 
Have you ever had dirty or soiled ski and snowboard clothing? I have. After a week of skiing with my new Burton jacket and Bonfire pants down at Thredbo and Perisher Blue this season, my new gear was looking Dirty. Walking across car-parks and pathways covered in mud, snow and water my gear looked worst for wear.
I didn't want one trip to the Australian Ski Fields to leave a dirty stain on my ski clothing. So when I got home to Brisbane I bought the Nikwax Techwash and TX Direct to clean and re apply the waterproof finish to my ski apparel.
The Following steps below outline the procedure i took to return my ski clothing back to their clean fresh look and fell.
Step 1.
First I wash the clothing on a cold wash with the Techwash which seemed to remove all the dirt and grime from my Jacket and Pant. While i was doing it i through in some other waterproof/breathable garments as well.
Step 2.
Without drying the gear I then Put a cold wash on with the TX Direct . This wash re applied the waterproof film to the garments. After the spin cycle I hang up the gear to dry.
Step 3.
When I went down to Ski Test we had some bad weather and the rain just beeded straight of the jacket and pants. Better than New.
